St Mary's response to Covid-19

From the 4th July churches were allowed to meet again, however, there are limits and restrictions to this. We started holding our Sunday morning service back in our building on 19th July. You can find more details about what coming to church is currently like by clicking Back in the building

For more information about how we are keeping our place of worship and meeting together safe please check out the links to our Risk Assessment and Question & Answer document.

Although we have started meeting together in person on a Sunday morning, we are continuing to do the following:

  • Video our Sunday services (which will inevitably be a little different to usual) and upload the videos to this website.  The videos are also available on YouTube.  We will also aim to provide a printed copy of our services (through letterboxes) to each member of St Mary’s who doesn’t have internet or isn’t able to attend on a Sunday.  Please let us know if you want to be added to our list.
  • Sunday Club is currently still meeting on Zoom. Contact the church office for more information.
  • Our Bible Study groups and Church Prayer meeting are continuing to meet over the summer via Zoom. Contact us if you would like more details.
  • We really want to support our church family and wider community as well as we can through this time.  To this end, we are organising support structures.  Do let us know if you would like us to reach out to you

Finally please be assured that we are praying for our community.  If there are particular prayer requests you have, please do email or phone the church office (details under Contact Us).

Please look at the links on the right hand side, and below, where we will include more resources.
