Children and Young people
We have lots going on for children and young people at St Mary's. Take a look at our regular activities below and follow the links for more information.
Sunday Club meets during the 10:30am service on most Sundays. Children aged 2-11 are welcome to join Sunday Club, with different groups by age. It includes, games, crafts, songs and a Bible story or study. You can find out more here: Sunday Club
Sunday play space and crèche
A play space is available in the main church building during the service for babies and children from 0-3 years old. Alternatively, if parents would prefer somewhere where children can make more noise then there is space in the church hall with toys to play with and the service can be listened to. The crèche is not supervised so we ask that parents remain with their children in the crèche.
Little Lambs Toddler Group
Little Lambs meets on Friday mornings from 10-11:30am during term time. It is for anyone with pre-school children, aged 0-5. We have plenty of toys to play with, a craft, refreshments and circle time - including singing and a story from the Bible. For more information see Little Lambs.
Friday Club is on a Friday evening during term time from 6-7:30pm for anyone in school years 6 to 9. There are games, food, fun and learning about Jesus. For more information see Friday Club.
We take the safeguarding of both children and adults very seriously. Every group leader has been through a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check at enhanced level and attends safeguarding training. For more information on our Safeguarding policy, please contact Lily Jeffrey or Caroline Fletcher (who are in charge of Safeguarding at St Mary’s) through the Church email.
If you have any questions about the programmes or want to know more about bringing your kids along then please contact us: firstname.lastname@example.org.
